FATIMA CELL PROGRAM FOR APRIL

THEME: DEVOTION TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

The Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima were preceded by three Apparitions of the Angel of Portugal in 1916. One of the main themes of these Apparitions was the Blessed Sacrament – the adoration and reparation due to Our Divine Lord – the Hidden Jesus. St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori reminds us ...the time you spend with devotion before this most Divine Sacrament will be the most profitable to you in life, and the source of your greatest consolation in death and in eternity... by prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, you will perhaps gain more than in all the spiritual exercises of the day. It is true that in every place God graciously hears the petitions of those who pray to Him… yet Jesus dispenses His graces in greater abundance to those who visit Him in the Most Holy Sacrament (from his book, Visits to the Blessed Sacrament).
