V. Thou hast redeemed us, O Lord, in Thy Blood.
R. And made us, for our God, a Kingdom.

Let us Pray: Almighty and Eternal God, Thou hast appointed Thine only-begotten Son the Redeemer of the world, and willed to be appeased by His Blood, grant we beseech Thee, that we may worthily adore this Price of our salvation, and through its power be safeguarded from the evils of this present life, so that we may rejoice in Its fruits forever in Heaven. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Ant. O Sacred Banquet, in which Christ is received, the memory of His Passion is renewed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us.

V. Thou hast given them Bread from Heaven:
R. Containing all sweetness within It.

Let us Pray: O God, Who in this wonderful Sacrament hast left us a memorial of Thy Passion, grant us, we beseech Thee, so to reverence the sacred mysteries of Thy Body and Blood that we may ever feel within ourselves the fruit of Thy Redemption. Who livest and reignest forever and ever. Amen.

Let us Pray: O Lord Jesus Christ, Who was crucified for us, humbly, but with great confidence, we beseech Thee to be merciful to us all who gather round Thy Cross, and to all those for whom we wish to pray. Grant us the grace to know Thee, to love Thee, and to be truly sorry that till now we have known and loved Thee so little.

We ask this grace by Thy Precious Blood:

By that Precious Blood which bathed Thy sacred Body and trickled down to the ground in the Garden of Olives;

By that Precious Blood which poured forth from Thy sacred Body during the scourging;

By that Precious Blood which covered Thy sacred Face when Thou wert crowned with thorns;

By that Precious Blood which burst from Thy Hands and Feet on Calvary;

By that Precious Blood which cries hourly to the Eternal Father for our pardon;

By that Precious Blood which came forth from Thy Sacred Heart after Thy death;

By that Precious Blood which is still offered daily on our altars;

By that Precious Blood which we drink in Holy Communion, and of which Thou hast said: "He who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has everlasting life." Amen.

Offering of the Precious Blood in Holy Masses in the spirit of De Montfort Slavery

O my God, in union with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer Thee the Precious Blood of Jesus from all true altars throughout the world, joining with It the offering of my every thought, word, and action of this day. I desire to gain every indulgence and merit possible, offering them, together with myself, through Mary Immaculate, whom Thou hast appointed the dispenser of the merits of Thy Precious Blood, that she may best apply them to the interests of Thy Most Sacred Heart. Precious Blood of Jesus, save us!

An Act of Contrition

O Most loving Redeemer, humbly prostrate at the foot of the Cross, I implore from the bottom of my heart, pardon for all my sins, which were the cause of Thy bitter Passion and of the overwhelming sorrow of Thy most afflicted Mother. O good Jesus, let not Thy Precious Blood be shed for me in vain. May Thy five sacred Wounds ever plead before Thy Eternal Father on behalf of my misery; and through the infinite merits of Thy sacred death and the bitter anguish of Thy holy Mother, grant me, dearest Lord, to atone for the past, and to persevere in Thy love for the future. Amen.

Prayer to the Eternal Father

Holy and Eternal Father, behold, I present myself before Thee, begging Thee to listen favorably to the supplication I most humbly address to Thy Divine Majesty. It is not in my name I pray, but in the Name of Jesus Who I have offended, and Who pardons me so mercifully. I substitute Him in my place. It is His Divine Blood which I present to Thee, O God of goodness, repeating a thousand times from the depth of my heart:

Jesus Crucified is my reparation, I offer Him to Thee;

Jesus Crucified is my Victim, my Holocaust, my Host, I offer Him to Thee;

Jesus Crucified is my tender solicitude for sinners, and my sorrow for their offenses and my own, I offer Him to Thee;

Jesus Crucified is my prayer as His Blood is my voice, I offer Him to Thee;

Jesus Crucified is my faith, my hope, and my love, I offer Him to Thee;

Jesus Crucified is my adoration, I offer Him to Thee;

Jesus Crucified is my zeal for Thy glory and for that of His Precious Blood, I offer Him to Thee;

Jesus Crucified is my surety, as His Blood is payment of all my debt, I offer Him to Thee;

O Lord, look upon this God Who annihilated Himself for Thy glory; and, for love of Him, forgive us all our sins; grant us all the favors which we solicit by the voice of His Blood and of His Wounds, and arrest the course of outrages which are incessantly renewed against Him. Amen.

Prayers to the Precious Blood for Vocations

My beloved Jesus, by the Precious Blood which Thou didst shed on the day of Thy Circumcision, deign to watch over the infancy and the early education of the children whom Thou hast destined to minister at the altar, that they may be preserved spotless till consecrated to Thee by the Holy Unction. Bless the families that honor Thy Precious Blood, and spread this devotion, by choosing from their midst a large number of vocations to the priesthood, and by maintaining their fervor till the close of their lives.

Our Lady of the Precious Blood, watch over thy priests, the living chalices of the Blood of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer to the Precious Blood for the Dying

O Most Merciful Jesus, Lover of souls; I pray Thee, by the agony of Thy most Sacred Heart, and by the Sorrows of Thy Immaculate Mother, cleanse in Thy Blood the sinners of the whole world who are now in their agony and are to die this day. Amen.

Hymn to the Precious Blood

O Precious Blood! Redeeming flood, from Jesus' Sacred...

1)...Feet; come Thou upon our sinful hearts, to heal the wounds of sin's fell darts. (repeat)

2)...Hands; upon us come we cry to Thee! From Satan's bondage set us free!

3)...Side; come sign us as the Savior's own, and claim us at His Father's Throne!

4)...Wounds; let every tongue Thy praises sing! Hail Blood of Christ our Savior King!

DEVOTIONS AND NOVENAS TO OUR LADY
DURING JULY

The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Novena, June 23; July 1 Feast, July 2

At the voice of the Mother of God, St. Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost, so that she recognized the great Mystery of the Incarnation in Mary; and the infant in Her womb rejoiced . Notice in this mystery of Our Lady's life how God wished to show us that Mary is the instrument and means by which He imparts to us His graces. Admire, too, the tender consideration Mary showed for Elizabeth. Our Heavenly Mother is our model in carrying out the second great commandment of charity. Through her intercession, let us ask Jesus for the graces we need, especially that of being charitable.

** Visitation **

(Read a longer article on the Visitation of Our Lady to St. Elizabeth.)

"Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the Fruit of Thy womb. And how have I deserved that the Mother of my Lord should come unto me?" (Luke 1: 42-43).

Let us celebrate the Visitation of the Virgin Mary! Let us adore Her Son, Christ Our Lord!
Glory be to the Father...

"Mary went with haste into the hill country, to a town of Juda. And she entered the house of Zachary and saluted Elizabeth. And it came to pass, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe in Her womb leapt for joy" (Luke 1:39-41). Hail Mary...

"And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost, and cried out with a loud voice, saying, 'Blessed art thou among the women and blessed is the Fruit of Thy womb! And how have I deserved that the Mother of my Lord should come unto me? And blessed is she who has believed, because the things promised her by the Lord shall be accomplished.' " (Luke 1:42-45)
Hail Mary...

Mary speaks: "My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God, my Savior; for He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid; for behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed." (Luke 1:46-49).

Let us Pray. O God, Who by the fruitful virginity of the Blessed Virgin Mary hast bestowed upon the human race the rewards of eternal salvation, grant, we beseech Thee, that we may feel Her intercession for us, through whom we have made worthy to receive the Author of life, Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee and the Holy Ghost, One God, forever, unto ages of ages. Amen.

Let us Pray. Bestow on Thy servants, we beg Thee, O Lord, the gift of Thy heavenly grace, that we, for whom the motherhood of the Blessed Virgin was the beginning of salvation, may be blessed with peace on the solemn feastday of Her Visitation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Mary,
Mediatrix of All Graces

Novena, July 1; Feast, July 10

As the Blessed Virgin Mary took part in the Incarnation and Redemption by her Divine Motherhood and Her Sorrows on Calvary, so she now fittingly cooperates in distributing the graces merited by her Divine Son. St. Bernard said: "It is the Will of God that we should have all things through Mary." We should rejoice over the fact that Her motherly heart is so tender and merciful. Let us be grateful for the numberless graces we have received through her intercession in the past, and go to her with childlike confidence in the future.

** Our Lady of Schonstatt **

"Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women... Do not be afraid, Mary, for Thou hast found grace with God." (Luke 1: 28, 30)

"Let us approach with confidence the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace for timely help!" (Heb. 4:16)
Glory be to the Father...

Hail Mary, Mother of Mercy, Mother of hope and grace! Thou art favored more than all other women on earth, for in the presence of our God, thou hast aided us in our weakness.
Hail Mary...

Thou art most wonderful, O Mary, and thy face is full of graces. (Esther 15:17) Implore thy Son to send laborers into His harvest, that all people may praise Thee and all generations may call thee blessed. Thou, the source of pardon, thou, the Mother of Grace, thou, the Hope of the world! Hear us as we cry to Thee.
Hail Mary...

Mary speaks:
Behold, the Lord hath entrusted all things unto me. There is nothing which is not in my power, or which He would not give me. He Who is mighty hath done great things unto me, and His Name is holy.

O Mary, when we who are so poor in good works think of the wonderful acts of kindness that were shown us because of thee, well may we eagerly exclaim: "The mercy of the Lord fills the whole world." Having been kept from God on account of our many sins, we sought and found Him again through thee and we were saved. Hence, so powerfully canst thou help us to be saved, O Mother of God, that we have no need of another intercessor with thy Divine Son. Truly thy excellence is beyond compare; thy gifts are numberless. O thou who art most holy, no one attains salvation except through thee. No one is freed from evil, unless it be through thee, O Immaculate!

O thou purest of creatures! No one receives any favor save through thee. On none is bestowed the gift of grace except it be through thee, O thou who art most deserving of honor! Therefore, who will not proclaim thee glorious and worthy of praise, O thou who hast received wonderful things from thy Son and from God, for which reason all ages praise thee. (St. Germanus)

Let us Pray. May the kind intercession of Thy Immaculate Mother and ever-Virgin Mary aid us, O Lord, that having been continually blessed with her favors, we may be freed from all danger and enjoy peace through her kind prayers. Who livest and reignest forever, unto ages of ages. Amen.

Hymn
To Thee, sweet Mother of our God,
We raise our voice in suppliant prayer;
Preserve us from the devil's wiles,
And let us rest beneath Thy care!

'Twas for a ruined nation's sake
Which Adam's guilt was made to share,
That God, our King, to Thee did give
A Mother's dignity so fair.

With us of Adam's fallen race,
Oh, may thy favor e'er abide!
Through Thee our guilt has been effaced,
Avenging anger laid aside.

O Jesus, Son of Virgin mild,
Unending glory be to Thee!
Praise to the Father infinite,
And Holy Ghost eternally. Amen.

V. Pray for us, our most powerful Mediatrix,
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us Pray. O Lord Jesus Christ, our Mediator with the Father, Who hast deigned to make thy Mother, the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother also and Mediatrix with Thee, mercifully grant that everyone who comes to Thee asking for favors, may be gladdened for having received all through her intercession. Who livest and reignest forever, unto ages of ages. Amen.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and St. Simon StockOur Lady Of Mount Carmel

Novena, July 7-15; Feast July 16

According to tradition, a number of men who embraced the Christian faith on Pentecost Day erected a church to the Blessed Virgin on Mount Carmel. They were called "Brethren of Blessed Mary of Mount Carmel." These religious came to Europe in the 13th century. Our Lady appeared to their General, Simon Stock, and gave him a habit which the order was to wear. Many privileges were attached to it. By wearing the small scapular, and performing the prescribed good works, lay people may enjoy these privileges, especially that of a prompt deliverance from purgatory. Do you wear a scapular or a medal as a keepsake of your Heavenly Mother? It should remind you that you belong entirely to Her and that through Her you can best give yourself to God.

My memory is unto everlasting generations (Ecclus. 24:28).

The Lord has blessed thee, O Mary, for from Thee we have received the Fruit of Life. Thou alone, without an equal, hast pleased our Lord Jesus Christ. Despise not our prayers in our needs, and deliver us from all dangers, O holy Mother of God. Hail Mary...

Thou hast visited the earth and hast plentifully showered it with blessings; Thou hast enriched it in many ways (Ps. 64:10).

Mary speaks: I walk in the way of justice in the midst of the paths of judgment, that I may enrich them that love Me, and may fill their treasures (Prov. 8:20, 21).

Hymn — Ave Regina Coelorum
Hail, O Queen of heaven enthroned,
Hail, by angels Mistress own'd.
Root of Jesse, Gate of morn.
Whence the world's true Light was born.
Glorious Virgin, joy to Thee,
Loveliest Whom in Heaven they see,
Fairest Thou where all are fair,
Plead with Christ our sins to spare.

V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,

R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:

O God, who was pleased to honor the Order of Carmel by the singular title of Thy most blessed Mother, Mary ever Virgin, grant, we pray Thee, that She whose memory we solemnly venerate today may favor us with Her protection, so that we may be found worthy to share in eternal happiness. Who livest and reignest forever. Amen.

Act of Consecration

O Mary, Queen and Mother of Carmel, I come today to consecrate myself to thee, for my whole life is but a small return for the many graces and blessings that have come from God to me through thy hands. Since thou regardest with an eye of special kindness those who wear thy scapular, I implore thee to strengthen my weakness with thy power, to enlighten the darkness of my mind with thy wisdom, to increase in me faith, hope, and charity that I may render day by day my debt of humble homage to thee. May thy scapular keep thine eyes of mercy turned toward me and bring me thy special protection in the daily struggle to be faithful to thy divine Son and to thee. May it separate me from all that is sinful in life and remind me constantly of my duty to behold thee and clothe myself with thy virtue. From henceforth I shall strive to live in the sweet companionship of thy spirit, to offer all to Jesus through thee and to make my life the mirror of thy humility, charity, patience, meekness and prayerfulness. O dearest Mother, support me by thy never failing love that I, an unworthy sinner, may come one day to exchange thy scapular for the wedding garment of Heaven, and dwell with thee and the Saints of Carmel in the kingdom of thy Son. Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel
"Flos Carmeli"

O Most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help me and show me herein thou art my Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, I humbly beseech thee from the bottom of my heart to assist me in this necessity; there are none that can withstand thy power.

O, show me herein that thou art my Mother. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. (Three times.)

Sweet Mother, I place this cause in thy hands. (Three times.)

Hymn

O Beautiful Flower of Carmel, Most fruitful Vine,
Splendor of Heaven, Holy and singular,
Who brought forth the Son of God remaining a pure Virgin;
Assist us, assist us in this necessity.
O Star of the Sea, O Star of the Sea! Help and protect us;
Show us that thou art our Mother!

The Humility of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Triduum, July 14-16 Feast, July 17

God loves the humble. He chose the lowly Virgin of Nazareth to be His Mother. Humility is one of the outstanding virtues in Our Lady's life. We cannot be true children of Mary unless we try to imitate our Heavenly Mother's humility. If pride plays an important part in our life, let us pray to the humble "Handmaid of the Lord" for the essential virtue of humility.

"He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and has exalted the lowly." (Luke 1:52)

Let us Pray. O Lord, we beseech Thee to grant us the grace of true humility through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God; at the same time take from our hearts the desires of the flesh and the eyes, so that, living wisely, justly and piously, we may obtain eternal rewards. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

O Blessed Mother of God, Mary ever Virgin, Temple of the Lord, Sanctuary of the Holy Ghost, Thou alone, without an equal, hast pleased Our Lord Jesus Christ!
Hail Mary...

Mary speaks:
My spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior; for He hath regarded the lowliness of His handmaid. (Luke 1:47)

Let us Pray. O God, Who stoopest to the humble and lookest upon the proud from afar, help Thy servants to imitate with a pure heart the humility of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was pleasing to Thee in her Virginity, and because of her humility conceived Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee, in the Unity of the Holy Ghost, One God, forever, unto ages of ages. Amen.

Mary, Mother of Mercy

Triduum, Wednesday before the 4th Sunday of July
Feast, Saturday before the 4th Sunday of July

After the fall, man became subject to sin, misery, disease and death. God, Who is rich in mercy, gave us two persons animated with tenderest sentiments of compassion and mercy: Jesus and Mary. Jesus willed to become like one of us and chose to know the profoundest depths of sorrow. Mary, the Mother of Sorrows, became the loving Mother of mankind beneath the Cross. She is full of compassionate mercy. Let us entreat her help for suffering mankind. Let us especially show this consideration for those commended to us in a particular way by Our Divine Lord: the poor, the sick, the suffering, and the outcasts. Let us always show mercy, and the Immaculate Mother of God will show herself a Mother of mercy to us.

** Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal **

"And His mercy is from generation unto generation, to those who fear Him." (Luke 1:50)

O noblest Queen of the world, Mary ever Virgin, who didst bring forth Christ the Lord, the Savior of all, pray in our name for peace and salvation.
Hail Mary...

Mary speaks: "Come over to me, all you who long for me, and be filled with my fruits, for my spirit is sweeter than honey, and my spirit is sweeter than honey, and my inheritance above honey and the honeycomb." (Ecclus. 24:26-27)

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we sigh, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, Thine eyes of mercy towards, and show unto us the blessed Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!

Let us Pray. O God, Whose compassion is without limit, show us thy mercy on earth through the most holy intercession of Mary, the Mother of Thy Son, that we may merit to attain eternal glory. Through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

St. Anne
Mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Novena: July 17-25 Feast: July 26

Dear Saint Anne, Mother of Mary, during this Novena in thy honor, we commend to thee all the mothers of our Community and of the Fatima Crusade, and we beg thee to guide and assist them, that they may raise their children in virtue and innocence, and present them to the service of God as thou didst with thy Daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, so that one day they may, like thee, rejoice in seeing their children as saints in Heaven.

** St. Anne **

O St. Anne, Model of Mothers, we commend to thee the restoration of the true dignity of motherhood and of all women which is being so terribly undermined today by promiscuity, birth control, abortion, and the spiritual neglect of children, depriving so many women of their decency and dignity, which God intends them to have. Oh, Saint Anne, obtain for all women the grace to be modest, chaste, and truly Marylike!

Litany of Saint Anne

Lord, have mercy on us.
Christ, have mercy on us.
Lord, have mercy on us; Christ, hear us.
Christ, graciously hear us;
God the Father of Heaven, have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world,
God the Holy Ghost,
Holy Trinity, one God,
Holy Mary, Queen of Angels and Saints, pray for us.
St. Anne, pray for us.
St. Anne, mother of Mary, the Queen of Heaven,
St. Anne, instrument of the Holy Ghost,
St. Anne, faithful spouse of St. Joachim,
St. Anne, example of widows,
St. Anne, miracle of patience,
St. Anne, mother of confidence,
St. Anne, mother of constancy,
St. Anne, mother of prayer,

St. Anne, merciful mother,
St. Anne, comfortress of the afflicted,
St. Anne, help of the poor,
St. Anne, protectress of virgins,
St. Anne, support of the oppressed,
St. Anne, refuge of thy clients,

We sinners, beseech thee, hear us.
Through thy love for Jesus and Mary, We beseech thee, hear us.
Through thy virtues and merits,
Through thy goodness and mercy,
Through thy compassion and charity,
Through the graces bestowed on thee by God,
Through the joys thou didst experience with Jesus and Mary,
Through the happiness thou dost enjoy for all eternity,
Through the honor given thee by the Saints in Heaven,

Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Have mercy on us.

V. Pray for us, St. Anne,
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us Pray. O God, Who didst vouchsafe to endow blessed Anne with grace so that she might be worthy to become the mother of her who brought forth Thine only-begotten Son; mercifully grant that we who devoutly venerate her memory, may also be helped by her powerful intercession. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Recommendation to Saint Anne

Hail, illustrious St. Anne, blessed among women because thou hadst the happiness of bearing in thy womb the holy and Immaculate Virgin Mary, the Mother of God; I participate in the joy thou didst experience on giving birth to Her, and offering Her in the Temple to the Eternal Father. I pray thee, good mother, to present me to thy well-beloved Daughter and to Her Son, Jesus. Be my advocate and protectress with Jesus and Mary; be my intercessor, my refuge, and my consolation. Amen.

Novena Prayer to Saint Anne

O Glorious St. Anne, thou art filled with compassion for those who invoke thee, and with love for those who suffer! Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at thy feet, and humbly beg of thee to take these present intentions which I recommend to thee in thy special care. (Here silently recommend them.)

Please recommend my intentions to thy daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and place them before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring them to a happy issue. Continue to intercede for me until my requests are granted, according to God's Holy Will. But above all, obtain for me the grace one day to see God face to face, and with thee, and Mary, and all the Saints to praise and bless Him for all eternity. Amen.
